lx -- Command

List directory's contents in columnar format
lx [file ...]

lx is a link to the  command ls -x. It prints each file in columnar format,
like the  command lc,  except that directories  and file names  are printed
together in one listing.  If a  file is a directory, lx lists its contents.
If no  file is  named, lx  lists the contents  of the current  directory by
default.
