Mission High School

Location: 18th Street (north side) between Church/Dolores.

The original Mission High building at Dolores/18th was built in 1898. It survived the 1906 earthquake, although all buildings across Dolores from it were destroyed by dynamiting or by the fire (see my Dolores Park 1906 page). It was used for refugee services during earthquake recovery. The 1898 building was destroyed by fire in 1922 and replaced with the current Mission High building on the same site.
