unpack -- Command

GNU utility to uncompress files
unpack [-cfhLrtvV ] [ file ... ]

unpack uncompresses  each file named  on its command line.   Each file must
have been compressed  by the COHERENT commands gzip or  compress, or by the
UNIX  command  pack.  If  no   file  appear  on  its  command  line  unpack
uncompresses what it reads from the standard input.

unpack is  a link to  the command gunzip.  For details on  its command-line
