lpshut -- Command

Turn off the printer daemon despooler
lpshut [-d]

The command lpshut turns off the printer daemon lpsched.

The option -d  tells lpshut to finish the jobs  that are currently printing
before it  shuts down the daemon.  If jobs  are interrupted while printing,
the printer daemon lpsched reprints them when it restarts.
