logmsg -- System Administration Hold COHERENT Login Message /etc/logmsg The file /etc/logmsg holds the message that COHERENT displays to prompt the user to log in. The superuser bin can edit this message to whatever she prefers. If the bell annoys you, simply delete the <ctrl-G> from /etc/logmsg.
