checkerr -- Command

Check the mail system for errors
/usr/lib/mail/checkerr

The script  checkerr reads error reports that have  been deposited into the
error  directory /usr/spool/smail/error.  If  it finds  an error,  checkerr
concatenates  them into file  /usr/spool/smail/.checkerror, and  mails that
file  to  user postmaster  on  your  system.  If  mail  cannot  be sent  to
postmaster for any reason, checkerr leaves the file in place; when you next
invoke this command, it will again try to mail the error messages.
