Highlights 2015 to date:

• Wim Wenders' The Salt of the Earth, a documentary about the astonishing photography and life of Sebastião Salgado. Looking at Salgado's photos makes the photographer in me ashamed of mine, and looking at his life should be a lesson in humanity for all of us.
• Kirsanoff's masterful silent Ménilmontant at the SF Silent Film Festival. How did I manage to never hear of this short film before?

I have kept movie date/title/director data consistently since 1982, with additional details since 2010. I also have some incomplete data from earlier years.
