(b) Steve slightly sick, faded at end and decided not to play second set.

(e) New shoes: Asics GT Trainer size 10, $30 at Herman's 3/1/92.
    Bought two identical pair.  Old shoes lasted about nine months. 
(f) New Gamma Grip, $8.  Old lasted about a year.
(g) Windy.
(h) Hot.
(i) Broke string in Head TXE in first game, played remainder with Tad.
    Probably an after-effect of wet weather previous time out,
    should be more careful next time.  VS gut strings lasted about 14 months.
(j) Using Tad.  Lots of control but less power, esp. when tired.
(k) New strings 10/31/92: Babolat VS Gut @ 62#,  $49 at Okabe Sports.
    Especially after Tad, feels very strong.
(l) Ira broke string in last game of first set, played remainder with Tad.
(m) Ira new strings and grip for Head.  New net at Noe courts -- beautiful!
