George Rubin

George Eric Ferdinand Rubin (6/07/1880 - 3/28/1965) was the father of my mother Eleanor Ness. He was born in Sweden, emigrated to the US in 1897, married my maternal grandmother Nellie Rubin, and was naturalized in 1913. He lived most of his life in Minneapolis. He was married four times: to Nellie Rubin (mother of Eleanor Ness and Dorothy Zachor), to Astrid Martin (mother of George Jr.), to Selma Nelson (mother of Ferdinand Eric Rubin, killed in Tunesia in WWII), and to Jennie Harrison. His first three wives predeceased him.
