David Ness

David Ness

My late brother David Ness (12/13/1939 - 2/18/2006) was born in Minneapolis. He attended Kenwood School (K-6), University High School (7-12), and M.I.T. He was a Rhodes Scholar at Magdalen College, Oxford from 1961 to 1963. He returned to M.I.T. as a a graduate student in Industrial Management. He became a professor at the Sloan School, then moved to Philadelphia to teach at Wharton.

David was married twice: to Susan Schneider (daughter Antonia) and to Robyn Weyand.

David's Rhodes classmates published a remarkable obituary for him in the American Oxonian.
