~photo/pnn/1951/1951_a/readme.txt 8/8/08 Originals: Kodachrome 35mm slides, undated. Many are dups rather than Kodachrome originals, probably dups of Jack's slides. Digitized 8/5/08 with Nikon Coolscan 5000 scanner: 5782 x 3946, TIFF output, 16 bit depth. From PNN Cavalcade tray #0, label "Jack & Lorraine / Trip Duluth / Cavours / June & Peter", no date. Date: Ca. 1951. The slide mounts date from 5/49 to 5/52, except that p40-p42 date from 5/52 to 8/55. This is very confusing, as the same bridge over waterfall appears in almost identical shots from different rolls with different mounts; maybe some were Jack's and some PNN's, with one roll developed after 5/52? [This suggests date may have been 1952, not 1951.] Location: Duluth MN and environs. Subject: Family trip to Duluth with the Andersons: PNN/ERN/DN/SAN, Jack/Lorraine/Judy/Jackie. p03: SAN, ERN, DN, Judy, Lorrraine, PNN, Jackie. Could we really have been camping? p04: Jackie, Jack, Lorraine, Judy. p05: PNN, DN, ERN, SAN. p07: DN, Judy. p08: PNN, ERN, DN, SAN. p09: SAN, DN. p13: ERN, SAN, DN. p14: Front: SAN, Jackie. Back: DN, ERN, Judy, Jack, Lorraine. p15: Jackie, SAN. p40: open pit iron mine, probably near Hibbing MN.
