ed -- Interactive line editor

ed [-] [+cmopsv] [file]

Options:
     -         Suppress character counts on r, w, e commands
     -x        Encrypt file
     +c        Print character counts on r, w, e
     +m        Allow multiple commands per line
     +o        Print line counts instead of character counts
     +p        Prompt for each command with `*'
     +s        Lower case matches upper in patterns
     +v        Verbose error messages
