Ginger Ale
			
				The amount below roughly fills a 750ml bottle.
				My goal: duplicate the fabulous Presbyterian cocktail
				(rye, ginger syrup, lime juice, and soda,
				over ice in chilled highball glass,
				garnished with candied ginger)
				from Dutch Kills in Long Island City!
			
			Ingredients:
			
				- 4 cups water
 
				- 1.5 cups Turbinado sugar
 
				- 3 cups ginger, peeled and chopped
 
				- 2 lemons, juiced
 
				- 1 lime, juiced
 
			
			Preparation:
			
				- Boil water
 
				- Add sugar, stir
 
				- Add ginger
 
				- Boil 10 minutes, stirring occasionally
 
				- Let cool for 15 minutes
 
				- Add lemon/lime juice
 
				- Strain into bottle
 
				- Cap and refrigerate
